Pick a random item from a list
Put your items in the box, one per line or separated by commas, set how many you want and press Pick. The chosen items appear at the top of the result and are added to the history below it. Press Pick again for a new draw.
One winner or several
Set Number to pick to 1 for a single winner, or to any other number for several. Without repeats, no item can be chosen twice in the same draw, which is what you want for a prize draw with several winners. With Allow repeats, each pick is made from the whole list, so the same item can appear more than once.
Remove picked items from the list
Tick Remove picked items from the list and every item that is chosen is taken out of the box. This is how to draw names one after another, such as picking who presents next until everyone has had a turn, without choosing the same person twice.
The history
Each draw is added to the history list, with the newest at the top, so that you can show what was drawn. Clear history removes the record without changing your list.
Fair and private
Every item has the same chance of being chosen. The pick uses the browser secure random number generator and avoids the small bias that comes from a simple remainder calculation. The list never leaves your browser.
