Three ways to add an image
- Drop or choose: drag files onto the box or tap Choose images.
- Paste: copy an image in any program or web page and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac) on this page.
- Camera: on a phone, tap Take a photo to convert a new picture straight away.
On iPhone and iPad
- Open this page in Safari and tap Choose images.
- Choose Photo Library or Browse to pick a file.
- Tap Download next to the PNG. It is saved in the Downloads folder of the Files app. To put it in Photos, open it in Files, tap Share and choose Save Image.
iPhone photos are usually HEIC. Safari turns them into JPG when you pick them, so they convert normally. If you have HEIC files from elsewhere, use HEIC to JPG.
On Android
Open the page in Chrome, tap Choose images and pick photos from Photos or Files. The PNGs go to the Downloads folder.
On Windows and Mac without a website
Windows: open the JPG in Paint, choose File, Save as, PNG picture. Mac: open the JPG in Preview, choose File, Export and pick PNG. Both handle one file at a time, while this page converts many at once and works the same on every device.
Is an online converter safe?
Many online converters upload your files to their server. This page does not: the conversion runs in your browser, and you can check it by switching off your connection after the page loads. It still works.
